Buddha’s Birthday, determined by the Lunisolar calendar in South Korea, occurs on the 8th day of the 4th lunar month. Called Seokga tansinil, it varies from year on the Gregorian calendar: May 17, 2013, May 6, 2014, May 25, 2015, and May 14, 2016.
